That is exactly what you want to see, plenty of peers shouldering the load. Finance overall was one of the worst-performing major S&P sectors Monday, on this holiday-shortened week. And the asset managers were not immune with leaders like AMG and IVZ falling each in the 2-3% neighborhood. EVR looks as if it wants to retest ifs rising 50 day SMA, to gather some stamina before resuming its uptrend. BEN is dealing with the round 30 number at the moment, and there has been M&A activity in the space with EV being swallowed by MS. Below is another attractive player in the group, in BLK. Early on this morning it looked like it would be put in the dumpster of so many other failed breakouts in the overall market, but reversed higher and CLOSED strong, going out on highs for the session.
